The main raw materials for shade nets are virgin PE granules, bottle cap sheets, and recycled PE granules, along with auxiliary additives such as color masterbatch, UV stabilizers, and anti-aging agents. The quality of the raw materials determines the lifespan and price of the shade net.
Virgin PE granules have a server life of 3-8 years, bottle cap sheets less than 1 year, and recycled PE granules have an even shorter server life. Price-wise, virgin PE granules > bottle cap sheets > recycled PE granules. The amount of auxiliary additives also affects the server life of the shade net.
Shade net made from virgin PE granules have a factory price of 2.4-2.7 USD/KG, subject to fluctuations in raw material prices. If the price is lower than this, it may not be made from virgin PE granules. These are generally used in greenhouses, orchards, parking lots, and courtyards, where a long lifespan is crucial. Shade net made from bottle cap sheets and recycled PE granules are cheaper, and customers with lower server life requirements may prefer them.
